Attorney Profile

Craig L. Boston is an Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Vincent F. Cornelius.  His practice focuses on criminal defense, family law, and personal injury cases.  Mr. Boston comes to the firm after spending 10 years in the insurance industry as a Structured Settlement Consultant and as a Commercial Liability Claims Adjuster. 

Mr. Boston graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law, Cum Laude, with a Juris Doctor degree in 2009.   As a student at the College of Law, Mr. Boston was elected president of the Black Law Students Association, he was recognized as the Best Oralist in the first year Moot Court Program, and he was given an award for Outstanding Contribution to the College of Law Community.  Prior to law school, Mr. Boston graduated with a 4.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) from National-Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences.

While in law school, Mr. Boston spent a semester working at the DuPage County State's Attorney's office.  While there, he worked in misdemeanor court rooms assisting with the prosecution of cases on behalf of the state.  Mr. Boston also spent a semester working at the Zeke Giorgi Law Clinic in Rockford, Illinois where he worked in the Elder Law Clinic.  While at the Law Clinic, Mr. Boston drafted wills, powers of attorney, and other estate documents for local senior citizens.  Finally, Mr. Boston worked as a Summer Associate for The Travelers Insurance.  In this capacity, Mr. Boston assisted attorneys in defending worker's compensation and liability cases.
